The Author has created a comprehensive e-learning site containing a series of training courses and quizzes relating to finance, green deal and health and safety. This is for business use only and for training and educating staff and not for customer or personal use.

The contents of the training courses and quizzes may not be sold on, reproduced or publicly displayed, mirrored or distributed to any other company, organisation or person for any commercial or public purpose without the express written permission of the Author. This includes loaning, leasing or renting to any other third party.

The User agrees that the Author will not be liable, under any circumstances and in any way, for any errors, omissions, loss, or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the website or any content included therein. Any certificates provided or completion of a training course does not indicate that any qualification or accreditation has been achieved, it is simply a statement and proof of completion.

A certificate is not proof of competency to do a job, but where issued, a certificate shows the individual has had training and may be kept as part of an individuals training records. Training certificates are provided with an expiry date (eg after a year). Expiry does not always mean that “full” retraining is mandatory as a result.

The User agrees that it must evaluate and bear all risks associated with the use of any content, including any reliance on the accuracy and completeness. The Author cannot guarantee successful outcomes with third parties (such as the Financial Conduct Authority and the Financial Ombudsman Service) as such third parties can exercise their discretion in deciding particular matters.

The copyright for the website remains with the Author.

The User agrees to indemnify and hold the Author harmless for any and all claims or demands, including reasonable solicitor’s fees that arise from or otherwise relate to its use and any content of the website.

The Author is a provider of resources and guidance only and is not bound by the professional responsibilities and duties of a legal practitioner.

The Author warrants, represents and undertakes to the User that it shall comply with its respective obligations under the General Data Protection Regulations and Data Protection Act 2018.
